What to Know Before Your Appointment

  • Present immunization records.
  • Provide insurance information.
  • It is recommended to make an appointment for the following services: WIC, immunizations and labs. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time. The LCHD has the right to reschedule appointments for those individuals who are more than 15 minutes late.
  • Walk-ins are welcome for the following services: blood pressure checks, Tetanus shots needed due to injury, pregnancy tests, TB tests, flu & COVID vaccine, birth control and B12 injections. These walk-in services are accepted Monday - Wednesday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm and Thursdays 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Tuberculosis (TB)

The Tuberculosis Control Program's main objective is to detect Tuberculosis, in both active and inactive forms for the residents of Lawrence County.

Tuberculosis (TB) testing is available on a walk-in basis from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm CST every day except Thursdays. For testing times during a week, including a holiday, please call to verify testing times.
