The Lawrence County Public Health Clinic strives to protect, promote, and advance the health and safety of the community. The mission of the Public Health Clinic is achieved through rapid and effective response to public health needs, leadership and excellence in public health practices, and advancement of public health science.   • Family Planning & Birth Control (discount on Birth Control). Individuals must have prescription to receive discount.

  • Injections (B-12, medications, Depo-Provera and more)
  • Laboratory (Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 1:00pm with a doctor's order)

What to Know Before Your Appointment

  • Present immunization records.
  • Provide insurance information.
  • It is recommended to make an appointment for the following services: WIC, immunizations and labs. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time. The LCHD has the right to reschedule appointments for those individuals who are more than 15 minutes late.
  • Walk-ins are welcome for the following services: blood pressure checks, Tetanus shots needed due to injury, pregnancy tests, TB tests, flu & COVID vaccine, birth control and B12 injections. These walk-in services are accepted Monday - Wednesday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm and Thursdays 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.

What to Know Before Your Appointment

  • Lab services are by appointment only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
  • Submit lab orders prior to appointment.
  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time. The LCHD has the right to reschedule appointments for those individuals who are more than 15 minutes late.
  • Payment for services and any fees will be due at time of service.
